William Tighe

William Terrance Tighe, age 48, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021.

William was born May 16, 1972 in Des Moines, Iowa to Dennis and Theresa (Rodriguez) Tighe. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1990. He met Katie Sheaffer in 2000 and they began their life together. William worked as security in many different downtown Des Moines venues where he met many people and made numerous friends. He enjoyed fishing, and prior to his illness, he loved bike riding with friends. He was a huge Chicago Bears fan. William loved spending time with his family and his many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife, Katie; children, Courtney Noggle, Trenton Prideaux, Rileigh Sheaffer, Carson Tighe; father, Dennis Tighe; siblings, Elizabeth Robles, Thomas Tighe; and several nieces and nephews.

William was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Tighe; a brother in infancy; and his grandparents.

There will be no formal services held at this time. A celebration of life will be planned in the spring.
