Maria Guzman, 93, passed away on December 24, 2020 at Parkridge Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill, IA.
She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on January 5, 1927, to James and Katherine (Canavo) Guzman.
Maria was very dedicated to her family and church.
Maria is survived by her nephew, Tony (Ann) Guzman; nieces, Jacquline (Scott) Beck and Marquita Moreno; brother, Ray Guzman; sister, Gloria Annett; several great and great great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021 at Glendale Cemetery.

My heart goes out to the family . Mary was absolutely the most beautiful soul l have ever known. She was always there when you needed her. You will be missed but it's comforting to know you are with Jesus and loved ones gone before.
