Donna Jean Worth

Donna Worth, 80, died September 2, 2009 at Trinity Center at Luther Park in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held Friday 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be held at the Lorimor Cemetery.
Donna was born on June 4, 1929, in Murray, Iowa, and grew up in Lorimor, Iowa. After graduating high school, she moved to Des Moines and worked for Sidles Company, Solar Aircraft, John Deere, and Iowa Power and Light. After her marriage in 1965, she was a full-time homemaker with strong interests in compiling family history and enjoyed her collectables. She was a member of Sheridan Park United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Robert, of Des Moines; a son, Randy (Evie) Worth, of Pleasant Hill; a daughter, Barbara (Charlie) Hunt, of Libertyville, IL; a daughter, Linda (Mike) Kendrick, of West Des Moines; a brother, Teddy (Billie Jean) Whitehead, of Des Moines; three grandsons, a step-grandson, and a granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank the staff at Trinity Center at Luther Park for their extraordinary kindness and care for Donna.
A Memorial has been established to Sheridan Park United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made at the funeral home.
