Georgia Bach

Georgia Bach, 87, passed away on December 17, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born in Osceola on June 1, 1933 to Frank and Paloma (Crowell) Anderson.

Georgia graduated from Tech High School in 1951. She married Chuck Bach in June of 1951. Georgia retired from DMACC as the secretary to the Dean of Students. Georgia lived in Ankeny before moving to Moline, Il where she lived with her sister for 20 years before returning to Des Moines a year ago.

Georgia is survived by her children; Dan (Kim) Bach, Sandy (Jay) Waterman, Jeff (Barb) Bach, Curt Bach, Diane Bach and Marcie Bach; sisters, Francine Fackler of Las Vegas, NV, Rosie Fallis of Ankeny, and Roberta Minard of Des Moines; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Verna Berry

The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. There will be a time of sharing at 12:30 p.m., with private graveside services will take place at Sunny Hill Cemetery in Grimes following.
