Sally Ann Waters

Sally Ann Waters, 67, passed away December 11, 2020. Sally was born February 12, 1953 to June (Brechbiel) and Ira Waters. She graduated from Ruby Van Meter in 1974 and then started with the Link day program. She worked there for 40-years until her retirement in 2014, and also lived in the Link Residential Program for 32-years.

Sally’s roommates were very important to her. She loved to help decorate for the holidays and treasured having parties in her home. She enjoyed trips to camp at Wesley Woods, to the ARL to visit the animals, and with her love of flowers - to the Botanical Garden. She also delighted in craft projects, singing, and attending the special needs ministry events at Valley Church. Sally also loved children and adored showing off pictures of her staff and guardian’s children to anyone she could. Sally was loved by so, so many and returned that love to all of us. She was a bright light in our lives and will be greatly missed. Sally made the world a better place with her happy spirit and joy for life that she always shared with others.

She is survived by her brother, Fred Waters; and her many friends. Sally was proceeded in death by her parents, June and Ira.
