Jerrold E. Lanphier

Jerrold E. Lanphier, 66, passed away December 13, 2020 at Mercy Hospice of Johnston. No public services are planned at this time.

Jerrold was born January 19, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa to Jerrold Andrew and Mary Belle (Stull) Lanphier. He served in the U.S. Army. Jerrold was in sales for Goodyear for 25 years and later became Vice President of Valley Pool & Hot Tub for 10 years. In his younger years, he played in a band. He was the lead singer and also played guitar, tambourine and the cowbell. Jerrold enjoyed fishing, his pets and chatting with his Paltalk Friends. He loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

Jerrold is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debra Lanphier; daughters, Christina Lanphier and Melissa Lanphier; granddaughter, MacKenzie Lanphier; sister, Viola (Jim) Bancroft; brothers, Danny (Rhonda) Lanphier and Robert Lanphier; and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
