Vicki Woodard

Vicki Sue Woodard, age 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.

Vicki was born April 5, 1940 in Norwoodville, Iowa to Isaac and Marguerite (Watson) West. She had a love of birds and was a member of the National Audubon Society.

She enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of her grandkids. She never missed a single basketball, volleyball, softball game or swimming match. She was a fantastic cook and brightened the lives of the kids at Myer Hall with amazing food and kind words.

She is survived by her son, Doug Webb; her brother, Ed West; and grandchildren, Niki Scharf, Matt Scharf and Mitch Webb

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Marguerite West; her sister, Marilyn and her brothers, Ike, Larry and Rick; her husband, Dick Woodard; and her children, Michael, Renea and Debi.

According to Vicki’s wishes, cremation will occur and there will be no formal services held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the National Audubon Society.
