Rose Holm

Rose Marie Holm, 79 died Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Fleur Heights Care Center. Funeral services will be held 1pm Friday, February 2nd at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd with burial following the luncheon at the church at Avon Cemetery.
Rose was born January 25, 1928 in Alleman, Iowa. She was raised on a farm and played basketball for Alleman High School during her teenage years. Rose worked as an ammunition inspector during WWII. She loved gardening and was a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
Rose is survived by her husband, Billy; her son, Kenny Holm (Pat) Beckman; her daughters, Barbara (Gary) Gioffredi, Beverly (Tom) Jarshaw; her brother, Sherman (Millie) Thompson; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday, February 1st at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
