Luetta Ball

Luetta Rachel Ball, 89, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009 at the Union Park Care Center. Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Luetta was born December 28, 1919 in Jasper County. She had owned her own restaurant but most recently was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, loved to babysit, and was a very good cook.
Luetta is survived by her daughter, Karen Redling (Dan), her son, Cecil Ball Jr.; her niece, Sheila Meyers. She was preceded in death by her husband. Cecil Ball Sr.
Luetta's family would like to thank the staff at Union Park Care Center and Southern Care for the kindness and caring they showed to Luetta during the time she was under their care.
