Dear Aunt Glenna and Kevin, Karen, Kalen, Martina, Josette, and families,
I was very sad to hear that Uncle Turk had passed away. He was a great uncle, one who always had a smile on his face and something funny to say. I can still remember all of those times that Paula and I would come home from school and see his big Younkers truck parked out in front of our house. We would run inside because we really enjoyed his visits and I know that Mom looked forward to them, too. He would call us Honyalk (What does that mean?) and pull our noses off! Uncle Turk always made time for all of us, and there certainly were a lot of us when the Hines family got together! Thanks to Aunt Glenna and Uncle Turk, the world has known a wonderful person, Martina. It takes a special family, good parents, and a lot of love to raise five great kids. Uncle Turk was lucky to be a part of that and to have all of you. We will all miss him terribly but he will live on in our hearts and in our memories.
With love and sadness,
Linda
