Florence Montandon

Florence Marie Montandon, 97, passed away August 21, 2009 in Weslaco, Texas.
Florence was born June 9, 1912 in Avoca, Iowa to Horace and Camilla Bentall. She moved to Des Moines in 1960. Florence attended First Baptist Church in Webster City, Iowa.
Florence is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann (Harold) Hennigar and Patricia Ann (Gordon) Lamp both of Weslaco, TX; grandchildren, Gordon (Debbie) Lamp, Jr., Kimberly (Thomas "TJ") Leichliter, Jeffrey Lamp, Douglas (Carmen) Hennigar, Mitchell (Angie) Hennigar, Rick (Jill) Hennigar, Merinda (Stephen) Sass and Rodney (Beth) Hennigar; 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Montandon, her parents, two brothers, and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2009 Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
