Vicky Sue Jewell, 57, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Taylor House Hospice. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Vicky was born December 1, 1951 in Des Moines to Eugene and Barbara (Barker) Aswegan. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Vicky enjoyed watching squirrels, gardening, playing BINGO, spending time with her granddaughter and watching her grandson play baseball.
Vicky is survived by her husband, Jack; daughter, Tonia (Justin) Zindel; grandchildren, Dylan and Ryleigh; father, Gene Aswegan; brothers, George (Gloria) Aswegan and Eugene "Red" (Melody) Aswegan; and her sisters, Tammie (Gary) Schroeder and Cheryl Negrete. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara.
