LeAnn Theis
December 06, 2020
LeAnn Kay Theis, age 69, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 6, 2020. LeAnn was born the daughter of Darl and Vivian Stalter on June 4, 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa.
LeAnn’s family was her first priority and she took great pride in being a grandma. Above everything, she cherished time spent with her family. LeAnn will be remembered most by her huge heart and being easily loved by all! She loved to camp, and go on rides on the weekends. Her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of her beloved family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 49 years, Michael Theis; children, Mikka Theis and Scott (JulieAnna) Theis; two grandchildren; brother, Douglas Stalter; sister, Darla (Rory) Guess; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
No services will be held at this time, a celebration of life will be held in the spring.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in memory of LeAnn.

I don't know why but you came to my mind today so I Googled your maiden name to see what I could find and try to reach out to you. But.... I only found your obituary. It brought sadness that I couldn't maybe reconnect with you. Guess I'll have to wait until heaven. I just remember the cute funny girl at Lincoln High and all the good times we had with you, I and Debbie Naples. From the other condolences it sounds like you had a good life and were loved by many. Rest in peace and see you later...

LeAnn....I don't even know where to start. All the countless hours we spent together laughing and talking about boys during our days on Sunset Drive. I am so glad I saw you briefly last year and met your husband and daughter. You leave a smile on my face and sadness in my heart that you are gone too soon. I have so many fond memories of your Mom letting us hang out at your home and feeding all of us!! Rest in peace dear girlfriend!
