Albert Valentine

Albert Valentine, 71, passed away on November 24, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center- West Lakes.
He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Orville and Mary (Wessel) Valentine.
Albert served full time active duty during Vietnam War time and over 30 years in the Army National Guard.
Albert’s grandchildren were his life. He loved cars, NASCAR, music, football, technology and his two corvettes.
Albert is survived by his children, Anthony (Sybil) Valentine, David (Ginny) Valentine, and Donovan (Torie) Valentine; brothers, Steven (Kerrie) Valentine and Douglas (Kim) Valentine; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, In Cha Valentine; and brother, Terry Valentine.
Joint urn burial of Albert and In Cha with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 7, 2021 at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Albert.

We had your service, it was really nice. It is beautiful up there. I will come visit you and grandma soon. I have some flowers and a hot wheels for you. They sold the house. Its so hard, I cant even drive down your street. Lilly couldnt even look at uncle Steve because of how much he looks like you. Funny though because uncle doug is goofy just like you. Love you lots!

I wrestled with Albert at Greenfield and knew him in National Guard. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

My heart absolutely aches. You brought sunshine in my life everytime we spoke and even more so when I saw you. I'll cherish the last time I saw you just a few short weeks ago.
