Kenneth Richard “Kenny” Lehman, Jr.

Kenny Lehman, age 63, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Granger Nursing and Rehab in Granger, Iowa.

Kenny was born April 16, 1957 in Des Moines, Iowa to Kenneth Sr. and Margaret (Murry) Lehman. He was a jokester and he loved to laugh and have a good time. He was a man of solid principles and would give the shirt off his own back to help others. He married Julie Millard on June 24, 1991 in Des Moines. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid Chiefs and Lakers fan.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Julie; sons, Robert (Angela) Blish and Kenneth “Kenny” Lehman III; grandsons, Maximus and Mayson Blish; mother, Margaret Lehman; sister, Cindy Stepp; and many other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth “Kenny” Lehman, Sr. and his sister, Kathy Morgan.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2020, also at Hamilton’s, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Des Moines. The family respectfully requests all guests wear masks and practice social distancing.
