Ana was born on March 22, 1944 to Ezequiel Arrieta Pallares and Ana Anillo Costa. She is survived by her sisters Elsa Arrieta, Alcira Arrieta, Luz Marina de Bilbao, Marta Arrieta; and her brother, Ezequiel Arrieta. She is also survived by her husband, Charles; three nephews and five nieces; three grand nephews and five grand nieces. Ana was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Santiago, Luis, Carlos Arrieta and her first husband David James Ferguson.

Ana symbolized her dedication to Jehovah by water baptism on January 7, 1961. Throughout her life, Ana continued her quest for truth through in-depth study of the Bible. As a result of her study and close relationship with Jehovah, she entered the full-time service in 1966 as a regular pioneer and later as a special pioneer. She, along with her sister, was instrumental in establishing congregations in unassigned territories.

She married her first husband, David, on September 4, 1976. They pioneered together. David eventually became a circuit overseer serving in Colombia, South America and the United States. After the circuit work they pioneered together until David’s death on June 23, 2015.
On July 16, 2016, Ana married her second husband, Charles Furrey and they became known as Nana Ana and Papa Charles since he is raising two grandsons. Ana continued her full-time pioneer service until her death. She spent more than fifty years in the full-time service.

Ana was such a lovely person inside and out with a great, positive attitude. She was very loving towards her family, friends, and those she met in the ministry. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and contagious laugh.

We are comforted by the Scriptural assurance that Jehovah yearns to resurrect his faithful, dedicated servants who are temporarily sleeping in death (Job 14:14, 15).
