Myra Waters

Myra L. Waters, 74, of Des Moines passed away on August 7, 2009 at her home from lung disease. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 11, 2009, at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, August 10, at the funeral home.
Myra was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and enjoyed going to church and playing cards with the ladies at the center. She also loved her grandchildren of which she had many.
She is survived by her children Michael (Synda) Waters, Melody (Robert) Lloyd and Roger (Shannon) Waters, her sister Nancy, her brothers Dennis and Virgil, 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roe D. Waters and her daughters Bonnie Kuhn and Hope Bainter.
