Dorothy Murray

Dorothy E. Murray, 91, died peacefully Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Manor Care in West Des Moines. A private burial is planned at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Des Moines. A public visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2009 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St. in Des Moines.
Dorothy was born February 19, 1918 in Ottumwa, IA to Elizabeth (Post) and Robert Clark. She loved traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters: Marla (Dale) Estey, and Peggy (Jack) Copic; her son Ted (Charlotte) Murray; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
