Dorothy “Dot” Marie Sayler, 91, passed away peacefully with her niece by her side Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Genesis Senior Living Center. Cremation has occurred and graveside inurnment will be at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2009 at North McDonald Cemetery in Winterset, Iowa.
Dot is survived by her son, Kenneth Douglas Sayler II; niece, Eula Burton as well as other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Douglas Sayler I; brothers, Ora Mauk, Harold Mauk, John Mauk and Ivan Mauk; and her sister, Christabell Walker. Memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Hospice in loving memory of Dot. Hamilton’s Funeral home is handling arrangements.

Cookie and Family,
Cookie, we know that you spent a lot of time with Aunt Dorothy doing things for her and taking care of her. Know that you did all the right things in the right way at the right time. If it hadn't been for you, Dorothy wouldn't have had these last years as comfortable as she did. You were special to her - hang on to that. Now they are all together once again.
