Junior Fitch

Junior H. Fitch, 72, left this world to be with his wife Nancy on July 28, 2009. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Saturday August 1, 2009, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., with burial following at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday evening.
Junior was born on October 31, 1936 in Leon, Iowa. He retired from Urbandale Schools. He was a wonderful dad and grandpa, and enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, fishing, playing his guitar, and country music.
He is survived by his children, Janette (Gary) Mumford, Todd (Kathy) Spurgin, Lisa (Tom) Black, Rick Spurgin, and Kenneth Fitch; brothers, Gail and Leo Fitch; sister, Velta Pullen; and ten grandchildren.
