Jackie and family, I was sadened to learn of Butch's passing. He was a really nice guy. I was fortunate to work with him while at Farmland and also John Deere Financial. I would tell the mangement at John Deere that Butch was one of the most talented programmers they had. I know during my Farmland days working as an assembler programmer Butch, would bail us out. He was our go-to guy. If nobody could figure it out ,Butch always could. He could read those massive core dumps like nobody's business. I always enjoyed chatting with him. What a nice guy. He will be missed.
