There was no doubt what was most important to him...his wife, sons, and their families. I hope you all know how much you were loved, and pray you feel peace and strength.❤

Condolences to all who will miss our friend Butch. He was an especially good man, a family man and a justifiably proud veteran. So glad to hear his final resting place will be in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, near his brothers and sisters in arms. I'm sure that'll please him. Jackie, I'm so sorry for the passing of Butch. May his spirit visit you and your family often, and leave you with a smile for having had him in your lives.

So sorry to hear of Butch's passing. Worked with him my first job as a programmer out of DMACC. A great teacher and team leader. Instilled in me a great love for asssembler (BAL) language. Learned some of his programming tricks and core dump reading talents, much to his dismay, that led me to a great career. RIP, Butch.
