Being almost a part of the family, I will miss Bill quite a bit. He usually drove up and had Thanksgiving dinner with us. I think he was the only other person who liked my fruit cocktail salad, said it reminded him of what his mom made when he was a kid, so I always made it for him. I also remember he would give us girls things he had bought at one of the many garage sales he traveled to. And it was not the necklace or whatever he was giving me, it was the idea that he thoughts enough of me to include me. And of course Iowa State Fair time he was around to visit a little longer. And he loved to travel and that' s probably what he's doing on the other side, traveling to all those garage sales and having a great time!

Being in California, I got quality time with grandpa.
He taught me many things when I was young that played significant role in my adult life. He taught me how to read a map and how to swim. I read maps everyday for work and I hold a scuba certification. Everytime I swim I think of the time he taught me to swim in an indoor pool.
I have fond memories of grandpa taking me and my brother on the lake to fish. I love and miss you grandpa.

Rusty, Dicky, & Family:
Your Dad was one in a million, a very close friend and Co-Worker at John Deere. After he moved to Missouri, he would stop by to visit when he was back to town for Christmas. We had a lot of good times bowling and golfing. Your Dad was a great friend and will always have a special place in the hearts of our family...RIP Jonsey ❤

My grandpa would take my brother and I to Caseys to pick up a taco pizza, something to eat while we went fishing.
He taught us that fishing with power bait was cheating. Though, we still used it.
I never gave it much thought until now, he just wanted us to enjoy our time (we did.)
His memory will live forever in our hearts and minds.
Love you Grandpa
