Sheryl Peek, age 60, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.

Sheryl was born November 26, 1959 in Osceola, Iowa to Loyd and Irene (Mullins) Jones. She attended school in Des Moines. She shared her life with Larry Stoddard for over 27 years. He passed away on April 9, 2014. Sheryl worked at Grand Laundry, at the Principal Building in the mail room, and for BH Management as a file clerk.

She enjoyed camping and cooking, and she loved her pet dogs. She was good at computer games, puzzle books, and solitare card games. In her free time, she liked going to auctions and garage sales with Larry.

She is survived by her children, Bobbie Jo Peek, Christine (John) Peek-Goodman, and Joseph (Kerri) Peek; her siblings, Shona McCarty, Donna Weis, Diana Templeton, Roger Jones, and Teresa Johnson; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd Jones and Irene Mullins; special friend, Larry Stoddard; sister, Phyllis Marchant; brother, Michael Jones; and her grandson, Jonathan Peek.

A graveside service will take place at Murray Cemetery in Murray, Iowa at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020.
