Dear LeRoy, David, Cindy and family,
Bill and I send you the very deepest sympathy. Alma was one dear happy person.
You were the love of her life, and she, yours. Right up to the end, you were as one. You set a wonderful example for us at Tama High School. That is probably why so many of us have celebrated our 50th wedding anniversaries. You coming to our school was meant to be. You know that you and Alma were always in our class, teacher or not. We all loved you and always will.
There is no way that I can leave Bill to come for the visitation or the funeral.....but I will be there in spirit with you. I know that you will understand as the caregiver. Bill is failing a lot and can't ride very far anymore, so I can't bring him.
LeRoy, I will keep in touch with you and I know that the classmates will too. God bless you in these empty days that you will face. Just know that Bill and I care so much.
Love, Gail Borland
