Jon is missed by many people. I miss him greatly as do his grandkids. Jon also suffered from parkinsons disease amd dementia. I regret not learning more about those diseases before he died. I may have known how to deal with t he way he acted better and might have been more understanding. Amd also, his birthday was on October 28th, not September 28th

My father, Jon Arthur Schoen, passed away on Sunday November 1, 2020. Jon was born on September 28, 1950 to Lyla June Schoen (Thomas) and Carl Schoen.
Jon A Schoen was loved by his family and will be forever missed. He was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Schoen, Mother Lyla June Palmer (Thomas), his father Carl, his older brother Dick (Richard) and also his step father Martin W Palmer.
Survived by his children: Jon J Schoen, Darcy P Harmon (Schoen), Jeffrey A Schoen, and Vanessa L Schoen, and many grandchildren.
Jon had a love of computers and photography. He went to Des Moines Technical High School, worked for Gestetner, Southwestern Community College in Creston Iowa, and had his own computer business for many years. As a survivor of polio in the 1950's, he suffered from Post Polio Syndrome in the 2000's and has known for his perseverance.
