Irma L. Davis

Irma Lee Davis, age 78, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Irma was born June 11, 1942 in Gyman, Oklahoma to Leonard and Ione Caldwell. She was God fearing and a Child of God. Irma was a very loving person. She was generous, strong, and fiercely independent. Family meant everything to her. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and treasured every moment she spent with them. Irma was very active in her church and enjoyed taking part in church activities. She was talented at cross-stitch and crocheting, and she liked watching Fox News. She enjoyed gardening in her free time. Above all else, Irma loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Skye (Kyle) Bryan; grandchildren, Cassidy (David) Coble, Garrett (Ariana) Van Maanen, Kasey Bryan, and Brandon Bryan; six great-grandchildren; sister, Rosemary Ketterman; brother, George Caldwell; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Irma was preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Woods and her parents.
There will be a celebration of Irma’s life at Urbandale Baptist Church, 6501 Aurora Avenue, Urbandale, IA 50322 on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome.

Dear Skye and family, you probably don't remember me but I remember you and your mom. Irma brought you to Mary Buttrey's house.you were such a cute little girl. and your Mother was so very proud of you. may God bring you strength and peace in the days and months to come.

Dear Skye, We are sorry that your mom has passed but, we have no doubt that she is with the !ord. Our love, prayers and condolences to you and everyone that she loved! We will not be able to attend her funeral Because of health reasons and the virus! We wil! Be thinking of you and our hearts will hug you with love. We have always loved you. God Bless.
