Patricia Ann Kersey McGuire, 84, passed away peacefully of natural causes at Parkridge Manor on November 3, 2020. She was born March 31, 1936 in Knoxville, Iowa to Gladys Hewitt Kersey and William Kersey, Sr.

On September 19, 1959 she was married to Dean McGuire in Des Moines, IA. Her career included management in customer service at Blue Cross Blue Shield, from which she retired. In her later years, she managed the Cottages of Pleasant Hill. She was a longtime member of Unity Lutheran Church.

Pat loved to cook, crochet, travel and spend time with her family.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Gladys Jones; father, William Kersey; step father, Morris Jones; siblings: Mick Kersey, Mildred Dismore, Avis Kruse, Sally Stucker and Bill Kersey, Jr.

She is survived by siblings: Sara Collier, Chuck Jones (Lynn Jones), Jackie Jones (George Morawska) and Morris Jones (Deb Jones); nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2020, 2pm, at Avon Cemetery, 3995 Hart Ave, Des Moines, IA 50320.
