Mary Pauline Lund

Mary Pauline Lund, 73, passed away peacefully at Iowa Lutheran Hospital on November 1, 2020. She was born September 17, 1947 to Paul and Mildred Leonard in Omaha, NE.

She attended North High School and was married to her husband Marvin Lund in Des Moines in 1964. Mary was employed at the Happy Chef Restaurant and later at the Country Kitchen both in Des Moines. She eventually retired from Montana Mikes.
Mary enjoyed watching television, especially Law and Order, and playing with all her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Missy (Gene Brown) Davidson and Mike (Brandy) Lund; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marvin, her son, Monti Lund, her daughter, Shelly Lund and sister, Barbara Jean Lingner.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 from 11:00 to 12:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Graveside service will follow at Glendale Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Casual attire is preferred.
