With deepest sorrow we announce David R. Burris, age 57, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 30th due to complications from asthma.
Those who knew David knew he enjoyed working construction and playing cribbage.
He is survived by his mother; Patti Jones, brothers; Steven (Kathy), Mark (Lori), Joseph, and Timothy, sister; Therese, daughters; Sara (Justin) Mohr, Katie (Nick) Friesen, Abby Burris, along with two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts and especially his Godmother, Aunt Rita. Preceding David in death is his father Ronald and his brother Paul.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of sending flowers to the family, please direct memorial contributions to Right To Life, 1450 E. 33rd Street, Des Moines, IA 50317.

I remember the time when David and Susan came into McDonalds at Indianola with the kids to eat. I was working there when I seen them we had a nice visit. It was so good to see relation.

I'm shocked to hear of David's passing. He was a great friend. We spent a lot of time together, always filled with laughter. My heart goes out to the family and friends. I will miss him.

Patti and All. I'm so sorry to hear of David's death. Very shocking. i remember his smile and cheery attitude. Just came across a picture of him at David's wedding in 1970. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love Jody

I have grest memories of David. When they lived in Panora we would help David and Paul with thier paperroute. He would put me on his handle bars on his bike and away we went. He was always laughing. HE WILL MISSED!
