Elsie has finished her race on this life s playground , fought the good and Godly fight , was blessed and also shared those blessings with the Devine heart she had inside her and those heart beats covered and surrounded her loved ones and friends and co- workers ,, whether at Mass at St Anthony's or SDM Little League games and practices , LOVE was always in the line - up !!! Angelo with his passion of the game and knowledge like no other , a kind approach yet competitive , he had the ability to keep young players engaged and light and fun !!! many times seeing him at a Church function or ceremony was always a guy everyone wanted to see and visit with , Rick always played at a high level , no pressure = competing and than the fantastic SDM concession stand , where we were all winners !!! GREAT days and nights and Yes under the lights as 11 and 12 year olds on a perfectly manacured majors field , scoreboard and public address announced all of our games ,, GOD allowed us to feel like pros while just playing as kids ,,, Elsie and all the other Moms and Grandmas were there to console us when the outcome didnt end in our favor ... WE dont remember scores and or stats , WE do remember how and when Special people God in his Devine powers allows those people to have a lasting effect of and in our Memories of the good times that last 4 ever ... no covid in heaven , no political arguments and bad behavior , the grand prize , winning lottery = HEAVEN = Elsie is now in the Eternal home which we all strive to enter as well ... Faith = Family = Friends ...Elsie had all 3 +++

My sincere condolences to the Bianchi family. I met Elsie when I returned to teach at Dowling in 1978. Elsie (and her friend Marguerite) always looked out for me being the new, young teacher at the school, whenever I came to get lunch in our cafeteria. She made sure I had plenty to eat. We had many great conversations and I always remembered her, even to this day. She and the Bianchi family will be in my thooughts and prayers.

For the first time in my life, I'm just speechless-- and so very saddened to learn of Elsie's passing...I've known Elsie and Angelo for many years......going back to the Army Reserve Center, where Angelo and I became good friends...my late husband proposed to me in the drill room at the Center, while I was making coffee, and Angelo was there at that moment!!! I got really interested in ceramics and remember going over to their house to take ceramic classes......it was so much fun, and I'll never forget those wonderful days. She was such a kind, caring and loving person, and I will never forget her. May our Lord hold you all in His loving arms and give you comfort at this most difficult time. May she always soar with the angels!
