Donna Jean (Smith) Howard, 78, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2020 surrounded by family in her home.
Donna was born October 1, 1942 in Humboldt, Iowa to the late Evelyn and Donald Smith. She was married on December 6, 1958 to her deceased spouse Frank Francis Howard and had three children.
She is survived by her daughter Debbie (Carl) Cunningham, daughter Diane Gillman (Bill Simpson), and son Mark (Jennifer) Howard; granddaughters Nikki Cunningham and Khloe Howard; step-granddaughters Heather, Angel, and Arianna; step-grandson D.J.; great-grandson Logan; great-granddaughters Tori and Kylee; twin brother Donald (Carol) Smith and her baby brother Terry (Penny) Smith.
Due to Covid 19, there will be a private family service at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Please wear masks and be conscious of social distancing.
A special thanks to granddaughter Nikki and great-granddaughter Tori for the loving care in her last moments of life.
