Edith Blanche Granberg

Edith Granberg, 88, died at the University Park and Rehabilitation Nursing Home on July 21, 2009. Memorial Services will be held at the Staves Memorial United Methodist Church on Friday, July 24; at 11 a.m.
Edith was born to Clark and Clara Myers in Tacoma, Washington on March 1, 1921. She then moved to Des Moines where she has spent the past 88 years. Edith was a longtime member of the Staves United Methodist Church.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Patti (John) Ochanpaugh; sons, Gerry (Dianna) Granberg, and George (Barb) Granberg Jr.; 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband G. Eldon, brother, George Myers, and sister, Doris Hart.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed toward the Hospice of Central Iowa.
