Sarah Jane Tanner, age 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2020 in the comfort of her own home.
Sarah was born April 28, 1925 in Elizabethtown, Illinois to George and Loretta (Briggs) Edwards. She worked as a C.N.A. during her working years. Sarah loved her family and enjoyed attending church when she was able.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Sarah (Jeremy) Schmitto and Cindy (Edward) Miller; great-grandchildren, Michelle, Cierra, Joseph, Damian, and Jensen; great-great-grandson, Khi’rie; siblings, Charlie, Bessie, and Marylou; her dear friend, Barbara (Victor) Lukancic; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Sarah was preceded in death by her son, Randall; and her siblings, Benny, George, John, Fred, Howard, Harry, Herbert, Laura, Ruth, and Betty.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
