Martha J. Lathrop, 70, of Des Moines passed away on July 16, 2009 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Private graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Martha was employed at R.R. Donnelly for many years and enjoyed reading and flowers. She is survived by her children Rick (Sue) Sammon, Kim Lumadue, Craig Lumadue and Kathy Barnes, her sisters Mary (Jim) Clarke and Marilyn Starner, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Harriett Hall.
