Virginia Frankford

Virginia Frankford, 85, died Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Parkridge Care Center in Pleasant Hill. Virginia was born on May 20, 1924 to Raymond and Nora Thompson in Des Moines, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines; burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. A visitation with family present will be one hour prior to services.
Virginia enjoyed spending time with her friends at Parkridge Care Center, her church, bingo, gardening, and camping. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Dennis) Howe; son, Larry (Melita); four grandchildren, Shelly (Pat) George, Denny (Machela) Howe, Wendy and Libby Frankford; and 4 great grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda and Alexis George, and Mylie Howe. Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lafayette.
