Service Details
Irene Sanders died at Fountain West Care Center on Friday, July 10, 2009. She was born December 31, 1915 to Vollie and Margaret (Reese) Cosner.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. from Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow the funeral service at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Irene is survived by her son, Vollie (Betty) Sanders; daughter Margaret Nelson; sister, Maxine Jensen; son in law Jim Kasper, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carver Sanders, daughter, Carene Kasper and two grandchildren, Bryce and Lynn Nelson.
The family has requested memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Contribution may be made at the funeral home.

Margie and Family,
Our deepest sympathy to you all. Your Mother was a strong lady with a great sense of humor. Margie it is admirable how you were devoted to her and helped her live out her days with the peace of knowing you were always there. You will miss her, but know she has taken her place at "home" with all of those who have gone before her and our Lord.

We understand your grief and sorrow. It is never easy for us here on earth, but just think of her in heaven now reuniting with parents, family and friends which she hasn't seen for years. I know I have a lot of angels up there looking out for me (and heaven knows, I need all the help I can get). Now you have one more Angel up there looking out for you.
