Burl Ivan Saltzman

Burl Ivan Saltzman, 77, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday, July 9, 2009, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ivan is survived by his wife, Kay, his brothers, Jim, Ronnie and Larry, his sisters, Ellen, Shirley and Rosalund; his children, Cindy, LouAnn, Janet, Valarie, Ivan Jr. and Vaughn; his grandchildren, Heather, Ginger, Heidi, Melissa, Holly, Merideth, Savannah, Ashley, Chad, Joey, Tommy, Adam, Andrew and Cameron; his 23 great grandchildren; Ivan was preceded in death by his parents, Burl E. and Ila L. Saltzman, his sister, Maria, and his first wife, Joy LaVonne.
