Donald E. White

Donald E. White, 83, of Des Moines passed away on July 5, 2009 at Kavanagh House following complications from a surgical procedure. He will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date at Avon Cemetery.
Don was a truck driver for many years and later worked for Budget Brake. He enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing and square dancing. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Juanita; his children Brenda (Leonard) Hummel, Dave (Liz) White, Bill (Sharon) White, Larry White and Lisa (Pete) Mickey; his sister Betty Zier; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister and his granddaughter, Hannah Nobile.
