Debra Sue Goddard, 59, died Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Services will be at a later date.
Deb was born July 23, 1949 to Ralph and Norma Torgeson in Estherville, Iowa. She attended East High School and was a member of the class of 1967. She then worked for Consolidated Freightways for 34 years, and was currently employed with Old Dominion Freightline for the past 6 years.

Deb is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Merlin Goddard; her beloved daughter Kimberly J. Brickei; her brother Randy Torgeson; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by both parents; her step father, Orville Enderson; siblings Robert Torgeson, Steve Torgeson, Rick Torgeson, and John Enderson.

Deb will be remembered for her humor, unconditional love, forgiving spirit and loyalty to friends and family. Memorial contributions in Deb’s name may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
