Dear Family of Sue:
It has been many years since I have seen any of you and you may not remember me. I was a grade ahead of Sue, but during our days at Hoyt, we were great friends and many weekends I enjoyed the hospitality of your home.
I was shocked to hear about Sue's death and indeed had no idea of her long term illness. She was such a vibrant, beautiful person. I regret that we did not stay in better contact.
I married my high school sweetheart, and Sue is a part of that story as well. The first night my husband to be saw me was at the Pizza Hut with Sue and Pam Eyerly. That was our little group at Hoyt.
Our family now lives in the Metro Atlanta area. I have one son, Connor and I married Mark Soutter.
Our family has also known great losses -- my Mother died 15 years ago and my nephew was killed in a horrible car accident 5 years ago. I have seen what the devastation of losing a child does to a family. You never recover and you are never the same.
But at the same time our loved ones who have gone on before would want us to live. They now wait for us and watch over us and come to us in our sweetest dreams.
God Bless You.
The Soutter Family
