Donna Lynn Butler

Donna Lynn Butler, 57, died Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. in Des Moines, with burial at Avon Cemetery.

Donna was born March 27, 1952 to Vivolyn and Donald Butler in Colorado Springs, CO. She worked as a nurse for 22 years, as well as for the Women's Correctional Facility and Per Mar Security. She enjoyed fishing, spending time with her brothers and dad, and especially beating them at cribbage.
Donna is survived by her mother, Vivolyn; and her brother: Larry (Mary) Butler. She was preceded in death by her father; and her brother Gary.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Donna.
