To all of Allison's family: Danny, Liv, Cassie, Jack, Judy, Shelly & all others-
I cannot express in words how very sorry I was/am to hear of your tremendous loss. I've felt deep sorrow and cried many times since learning of Allison's illness, what she'd been thru and her passing. I'm so sorry that I didn't know she'd been ill. She did not deserve to suffer with her illness, nor to be taken from this life so young. Her vivacious spirit enriched anyone's life that she touched. I know she did mine. She showed me how to be a better person when I needed that, as a young teen.
I have many happy memories of times Allison & I spent together. Also, many memories of when we cried on each other's shoulders. I have kept her senior picture & the cutest snapshop of Allison when we were at a baseball game together, in my purse all of these years. That picture at the ballgame is so playful...I caught her off-guard, preparing to eat a hotdog. She glanced over toward me with her big, beautiful eyes & the cutest look on her face, as I snapped that shot. It's a special treasure and memento that I'll always keep with me. Although, we regretfully, lost contact through the years after I got married and moved away, (we all get so busy with our lives & sadly take things for granted), I often thought of Allison. I'm so happy to have had our experiences together...fun in chorus & at school, having great times all the times we did things together and a very special gift I'll forever cherish when she served as a bridesmaid in my wedding. I will always keep memories of Allison in a special place in my heart. She was truly a kindhearted, caring person with a beautiful soul to match her exterior. Allison will be sorely missed by all of us who knew her. Please, know that you are all in my thoughts, and I wish there were something I could say to make this easier. Only time can help ease the empty pain, to an extent. I'll pray that it will for all who knew and loved Allison.
With Sincere Sympathy,
Michelle

I have no words except I'm Very Sorry for losing your wife, mother & friend. Allison & I go back to corporate relations days. We traveled together & played practical jokes whenever we could. She made me laugh when I wanted to cry out of frustration. I always hear her beautiful singing voice. Just knowing Allison was in this world somehow made things seem better. She was always in my thoughts after she left corporate relations & I missed her greatly. This news is so incredibly sad. God bless all your family & God will help you parent 2 teen girls ... remember always that you're not alone. Again, so so so sorry. Jeanne Nichol

Celebrate her life and cherish all the wonderful memories, and be glad for the gift she was to you during your time together. Lean on God and your family and friends to help you get through the sadness of having to say goodbye. God will give you comfort and lead you to peace. Some days will be harder than others, but God will help you. Allison can finally rest. May you find comfort in knowing she is at peace.

Allison was a true inspiration in so many, many lives. I know that everyone she knows has heard an encouraging word from her and shared her kindness. She was the most optomistic person I know. She saw the good in every situation. I know she has taught you girls and Dan many life lessons about joy, perseverence and hope. Keep those with you always. You three are an extension of her. I will always think of her when I see you and will have happiness in seeing her live through you. I love you guys!

What a shock to hear of Mrs. Bishop's death. I didn't know her well at all, but she was a wonderful supporter of the schools and the libraries. Such a life force.
Cassie and Liv, I'm available all summer. I've got some good reading material in mind should you want it.
