Service Details
James Whitlatch, 67, died Thursday, June 25, 2009. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home. A visitation will be 4-6 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.
James is survived by his wife, Judi; his brother Forest (Margaret) Whitlatch; his granddaughter, Mia Konchalski and many friends and relatives. Jim’s family thanks everybody for their caring and love through this hard time.

You will be missed great-uncle Jim. Although I have not seen you in many years, you have always been in my mind. I remember your kindness each time I visited Grandma Esther. My Grandma Dee thought so much of you, so may you now be with them both.
