Service Details
Ron Copley, 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2009. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Ron was born September 27, 1936 to Clarence and Reva Copley in Newton and served in the Army. He retired from MidAmerican Energy in 1998 after 29 years of service. Ron enjoyed fishing with his buddy, Rick and tinkering on his 1934 Packard.
Ron is survived by his wife of 42 years, Amy; children, Jeff (Kim) Baird, Todd (Lori) Copley, and Tracy (Pat) Murillo; grandchildren, Ryan (Trish), Cassidy, Jacob, Caleb, Madeline, Courtney, and Chloe; mother, Reva Copley; and a host of other family and beloved friends.
