Robert William Musgrove

Robert "Bob" W. Musgrove formerly of St. Louis, MO, passed away June 20, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center of pneumonia.
Bob was born October 29, 1957, in St. Louis, MO; Bob moved to Des Moines in 1991. He enjoyed his career as a cable contractor, and leisure activities such as fishing, his children's athletic events, playing pool and bowling. Bob loved St. Louis Cardinal baseball.
In 2000 a traumatic brain injury accident altered Bob's life. After an 11-month stay at On With Life, Bob was given a chance to return home and live nine years with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Lisa, who never left his side and cared for him until his passing, daughter Amy (Mark) Moreno-Kieffer, son Victor (Libby) Moreno, Nicholas (Rachelle) Moreno; grandchildren, Nataleigh Ann, Makenna Kay, Gage Christopher, and Liv Elizabeth.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Irene Winklemann, his parents, Sid and Jamie Hancock, and mother in law Marylin F. Meeks.
Memorial contribution may be directed toward the On With Life Inc. in Ankeny, Iowa.
The family will greet friends during a memorial visitation from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 24 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, N.W. 60th Street.
