Ruth McCarl

Ruth McCarl, 79, died Friday, June 19, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. A Funeral Mass will be held 6:00 pm, Tuesday June 23, 2009 at Basilica of St. Johns Catholic Church.
Ruth was born June 13, 1930 in Decatur, Iowa, to Henry and Minnie (Deemer) Dohrn. She enjoyed going camping and sharing time with her family and grandchildren.
Ruth is survived by her children, Donna (Richard) Michael; Danny McCarl; Linda (Dick) Grover; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Robert and Norman McCarl.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Father Maurice Schulte Scholarship fund at St. Pius X Catholic Church.
