Linda Ann Hill, age 75, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines. Linda was born the daughter of Raymond and Bernice Bales on April 18, 1945 in Los Angeles, California. Linda worked as a nurse at Mercy Hospital for many years and most recently at University Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She attended True Bible Baptist Church. Linda enjoyed visiting friends at Norwoodville Senior Center and going to rummage sales on the weekends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Jerry Hill, Jr.; sister, Ray Ann (Mike) Scione; brothers, Randy Bales and Ronnie Bales; step-sister, Linda Lee; nephews, Carl Burt, Chad Burt and Chris Burt; best friend since grade school, Ila Kohlbusch; and a host of extended family and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; children, Denise Harrison, Jamie Hill and Brian Hill; sisters, Patty Bales and Judy Johnson; and her half-brother, Raymond Bales.
