Mark Jay Matheson, 57, was born March 22, 1963 in Des Moines, the son of Arthur and Geraldine (Leonard) Matheson. He passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 9, 2020 at his home.
Mark is survived by his father, Arthur; his brother, Greg (Jill) Matheson; other loving relatives and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine.
Cremation has occurred and private burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Alcoholics Anonymous in loving memory of Mark.

Man... When I saw this realized that you were gone, I was sad. You were a good friend at a time when I really needed a friend. Your thinking was more advanced then many others and your intelligence was apparent. You and your sweet mother were good to me when I had a bad family life. I will always appreciate both of you . RIP my Brother.
