Sidney E. Paulsen, 88, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the Iowa Veteran's Home, in Marshalltown. No services are planned at this time.
Sidney was born April 21, 1921 in Perry, Iowa. He served in the US Army during World War II. Sidney worked as a carpenter for Brieholz Construction. He was an avid worker and always had a smile on his face.
Sidney is survived by his wife, Cleo Rysdam-Paulsen, his nephews, Steve Salato and Tom Frank Salato. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Petra Paulsen and by his first wife, Lucille Paulsen.
